Gaëlle Pauquet joined our team at the Reinach office at the beginning of April. A very warm welcome to her!

Gaëlle has been fascinated by water bodies from an early age – both freshwater ecosystems and the oceans. This interest accompanied her throughout her zoology studies at the University of Basel and continues to shape her career path to this day. After completing her Master’s degree, it quickly became clear that her work should have a clear connection to water bodies. Since 2017, she has gained valuable experience in aquatic ecology and water protection through various internships and positions. Her work to date has focused on areas including bioindication, water monitoring and revitalisation projects. She recently deepened her specialist knowledge by completing the CAS in Macrozoobenthos – Water Assessment & Species Identification at the ZHAW.

In her free time, Gaëlle also enjoys being outdoors by or in the water. When diving, she discovers fascinating underwater worlds, not only in distant regions but also in our local waters. As someone who loves being active, she also enjoys spending time in nature and is actively involved in the Birsfelden Nature Conservation Society, including on maintenance projects.

Curiosity and a love of learning are what drive Gaëlle, and she is looking forward to taking on new responsibilities with us and delving into other specialist areas, such as environmental construction supervision or the Biodiversity Monitoring Switzerland. In these areas, she hopes to share her expertise and enthusiasm with us and work on behalf of our clients.

We are delighted to welcome Gaëlle to our team and look forward to working with her on exciting projects.
