One of our main areas of expertise are evaluation and monitoring in the field of biodiversity. We check whether planned measures are implemented correctly and are effective, and whether they achieve the goals set. With evaluation and monitoring programmes, we provide our clients with a basis for decision-making on the continuation or adaptation of biodiversity conservation programmes. We collect field data on the occurrence and population of flora and fauna, but also on the quality of the landscape.
Statistical analysis and visualisation of data and geoinformation also form an important part of our daily work. We analyse data on species, habitats and landscapes. The high flexibility and sensitivity of modern statistical methods allows us to precisely extract the information contained in the data. In addition to species abundance and population data, we also evaluate indicators of the degree of fragmentation or the continuity of the landscape, conduct habitat modelling or calculate the visibility of a structure using 3D analyses.
